Reconnect with the outdoors at our Primitive (Dry) Campsites, perfect for campers who enjoy a more traditional, unplugged experience. These park-like sites offer grassy areas and a peaceful setting with easy access to the creek, common areas, and campground amenities.
These sites do not include electric or water hookups, making them ideal for tents or self-contained campers that don’t require power. To preserve the natural atmosphere and ensure a quiet, enjoyable stay for all guests, gas-powered generators are not permitted at primitive sites.
Spend your days floating the Elk River, fishing, swimming, or relaxing along the water’s edge. Our on-site rental office and store makes it easy to rent boats, grab snacks, and pick up essentials for a stress-free river day. When you return, enjoy our well-maintained grounds and clean, conveniently located restrooms before settling in under the stars.

Stay Details
- Check-in: 4:00 PM | Check-out: 11:00 AM. (Please visit the office first to register, sign waivers, and collect your car tags and wristbands).
- Holiday Weekends: A 3-night minimum stay is required for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
- Quiet Hours: 10:29 PM – 7:00 AM. We are a “peace of the creek” community. Please keep music and conversation contained within your campsite at all times.
